This weekend, Essex motorists should be aware of several road closures that will impact traffic in the area. The closures will affect major roads such as the A12, M25, and Dartford Crossing, so it is important to plan your route accordingly.
On Friday, November 15, there will be several closures on the A12. The northbound carriageway from Junction 12 to Junction 15 will be closed from 9pm to 5am. Additionally, there will be closures on the southbound exit slip at Junction 24, the northbound exit slip at Junction 27, and the southbound entry and exit slip at Junction 28 during the same hours.
At the Dartford Crossing, the West tunnel on the northbound side will be closed from 11pm to 5.30am for tunnel maintenance works. On the M25, there will be a clockwise carriageway closure between Junction 25 and Junction 27 from 10pm to 5.30am, as well as an exit slip road closure at Junction 28 in the same direction from 11pm to 5am.
Moving on to Saturday, November 16, there are no scheduled closures on the A12. However, the West tunnel on the northbound side of the Dartford Crossing will be closed from 10pm to 5am for maintenance works. On the M25, an exit slip road closure at Junction 28 in the clockwise direction will be in effect from 11pm to 5am.
Finally, on Sunday, November 17, there are no closures scheduled for the A12. The East tunnel on the northbound side of the Dartford Crossing will be closed from 10pm to 5am for maintenance works. Again, there will be an exit slip road closure at Junction 28 on the M25 clockwise from 11pm to 5am.
