Tesco has put forward a proposal to make significant changes to the Triangle Shopping Centre in Frinton, North Essex. The aim is to give the shopping center a fresh look and attract more visitors.
The plan includes creating a new plaza, improving the existing facilities, and enhancing the parking area to make shopping more convenient for everyone. Some of the current buildings will be partially demolished, and a canopy will be removed to make way for new features like click-and-collect services.
The proposed plaza is designed to be a space where the community can come together, making the shopping center not just a place to shop but also a social hub.
Local councillor Nick Turner has expressed his support for the project, emphasizing the need to modernize Frinton and the positive impact that Tesco’s investment could have on the community. While some parts of the site are owned by entities other than Tesco, arrangements have been made to address concerns like parking.
Residents have the opportunity to view the plans on the council’s website and provide feedback before a decision is made. Overall, the revitalization of the Triangle Shopping Centre is seen as a step in the right direction for Frinton’s development and growth.
