This weekend, there will be some road closures in Essex that will affect traffic, as announced by National Highways England.
The closures will impact major roads in Essex, such as the A12 and M25, as well as the Dartford Crossing. It is important for travelers to take note of the diversions that will be in place during these closures.
Here is a breakdown of the closures scheduled from Friday, November 1 to Sunday, November 3.
On Friday, November 1, there will be an exit slip road closure at Junction 14 on the A12 northbound from 9pm to 5am for resurfacing works. On the A12 southbound, a carriageway closure will be in place between Junction 24 and 23 for reconstruction/renewal works.
At the Dartford Crossing, there will be a closure from Junction 1A of the A282 (anti-clockwise) to Junction 31 of the M25 (anti-clockwise) for grillage works from 10pm to 5.30am.
On the M25 clockwise, an exit slip road closure will occur at Junction 28 for scheme works from 11pm to 5am. Additionally, the link road between M25 Junction 27 (anti-clockwise) and M11 Junction 6 (northbound and southbound) will be closed from 11pm to 6am for tree removal.
Moving on to Saturday, November 2, similar closures will be in place on the A12 northbound and M25 clockwise. The West tunnel on the Northbound way of the Dartford Crossing will be closed from 10pm to 5am for maintenance works.
Finally, on Sunday, November 3, no closures are scheduled for the A12. However, the East tunnel on the Northbound way of the Dartford Crossing will be closed from 10pm to 5am for maintenance works.
