This weekend, there will be some road closures in Essex that could impact traffic flow. The closures will affect major roads like the A12, M25, and the Dartford Crossing. If you are planning to travel along these routes, it’s important to be aware of the diversions that will be in place.
On Friday, November 22, there will be several closures to note. The A12 northbound will have a carriageway closure between Junction 22 and 24 from 9pm to 5am for electrical works. The West tunnel on the northbound side of the Dartford Crossing will be closed from 9pm to 5.30am for tunnel works. Additionally, there will be various closures on the M25, including exit and entry slip road closures, carriageway closures, and lane closures during the night.
Moving on to Saturday, November 23, there are no scheduled closures for the A12. However, the West tunnel on the northbound side of the Dartford Crossing will be closed from 10pm to 5am for maintenance works. On the M25 anti-clockwise, an entry slip road closure is planned at Junction 28 from 10pm to 5.30am.
Finally, on Sunday, November 24, there are no closures scheduled for the A12. The East tunnel on the northbound side of the Dartford Crossing will be closed from 10pm to 5am for maintenance works. Fortunately, there are no closures scheduled for the M25 Essex junctions on this day.
