The East Coast Pride 2024 event is set to bring together a large crowd in Skegness to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. The event will feature activities across five zones in the town from 10am to 8pm on Saturday, September 7. These zones include Grand Parade, Tower Esplanade, Compass Gardens, Tower Gardens, and the Hildreds Shopping Centre. Attendees can look forward to a number of live performances throughout the day on the main stage on Grand Parade, with the headline act Queenz scheduled for 7pm.

While there won’t be a pride parade, there will be a road closure on Grand Parade from 9pm on Friday, September 6 until 3am on Sunday, September 8. The Clock Tower Roundabout will not be affected by the closure. East Coast Pride is a free event that is open to all and is described as family-friendly on the event’s website. For those looking to continue the celebration, an official after party will be held at The Hive Complex for individuals aged 18 and over. Tickets for the after party start at £15 plus a booking fee for standard entry, with a Meet and Greet with Michael Marouli option available for £25 plus a booking fee.

Parking will not be provided at the event, but attendees can utilize the various council-run car parks in the town. It is recommended that individuals aged 16 and under be accompanied by an adult for the event. The schedule for the day is as follows:
