Three dudes got nabbed and charged after the cops found a bunch of weed worth around £211,000 in Perthshire. The whole thing went down at a spot in the Balgowan area at like 11:30am on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
So, like, two of the guys, aged 25 and 41, had to face the music at Perth Sheriff Court on Wednesday, March 5. The third dude, also 41, is supposed to make an appearance in court on Friday, March 7.
Detective Inspector Simon Murray, from Perth CID, gave a shoutout to the public for helping out with the investigation. He was all like, “Big thanks to everyone who pitched in with our little investigation here. Drug stuff just makes life suck for everyone, so I want to reassure folks in Perthshire and Tayside that we’re gonna do everything we can to get rid of this junk from our streets.
“We really rely on the public to help us out, so if you know anything or have any worries about drugs, hit up Police Scotland at 101 or drop a dime anonymously to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.”
