In the upcoming weeks, there will be several road closures in mid and north Essex that residents should be aware of.
Hall Road in Copford will be closed for 57 days starting from November 25 for bellmouth installation works by Dandara Eastern Limited. This closure will be from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 85m.
Other closures include Heckfords Road in Great Bentley for three days starting from November 25 for carriageway resurfacing works by Connect Highways Ltd. Water Lane in Langham will also be closed for five days from November 25 for access point reinstatement works by Anglian Water.
In the district of Tendring, Bagshaw Road in Dovercourt will be closed for three days from December 10 for footway patching works by Essex County Council. Dedham Road in Lawford will close for two days from December 9 for overhead cabling works by Openreach.
Residents in Bradfield should be aware that Windmill Road will be closed for five days from November 25 for new connection works by UK Power Networks. Beatrice Road in Clacton will also be closed for three days from December 2 for carriageway patching works by Essex County Council.
In Braintree, Church Road in Hatfield Peverel will be closed for five days from December 2 for carriageway patching works by Essex County Council. Aylesbury Drive and Tufted Close in Great Notley will also be closed for two days from December 10 for new connection works by Openreach.
Residents in Maldon should take note that Mangapp Chase and Green Lane in Burnham-on-Crouch will be closed for two days from November 27 for tree cutting works by Openreach.
These closures are necessary for various works to be undertaken to improve the infrastructure in these areas. Residents are advised to plan their routes accordingly and allow for extra travel time during these closures.
