Police in Marks Tey arrested a 36-year-old man this morning after concerned members of the public reported his dangerous driving. The man, who was driving a black Mercedes, attempted to flee from officers on the A12.

The incident began when the police received calls from witnesses in Chelmsford around 9:45 am. When the officers tried to stop the man, he refused to pull over. However, the police were able to stop him in Marks Tey at 10:30 am.

The 36-year-old was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, dangerous driving, and drink driving. He is currently in police custody as the investigation continues.
