This weekend, several motorway closures will impact traffic in Essex, affecting key routes such as the A12, M25, and the Dartford Crossing, according to National Highways England.

On Friday, October 18:
– A12: There will be an exit slip road closure at Junction 25 southbound for reconstruction works from 9pm to 6am. In addition, a 24-hour slip road closure will be in place at Junction 19 northbound for the construction of New Beaulieu Station.
– Dartford Crossing: A closure will occur from Junction 1A of the A282 (anti-clockwise) to Junction 31 of the M25 (anti-clockwise) for grillage works from 11pm to 6am.
– M25: Various closures include exit and entry slip road closures at Junction 29 clockwise from 11pm to 5am, a carriageway closure from Junction 29 to Junction 28 anti-clockwise from 11pm to 6am, and more.

On Saturday, October 19:
– A12: A carriageway closure between the exit and entry slip roads of Junction 25 northbound from 9pm to 6am, as well as an exit slip road closure at Junction 25 southbound during the same time period.
– Dartford Crossing: The East tunnel on the Northbound route will be closed from 9.30pm to 5am for maintenance works.
– M25: Closures will include carriageway closures, entry slip road closures, and more from 10pm to 6am.

On Sunday, October 20:
– A12: A carriageway closure will take place between the exit and entry slip roads of Junction 25 southbound from 9pm to 6am, as well as a closure from Old London Road to Marks Tey northbound between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
– Dartford Crossing: The East tunnel on the Northbound route will be closed from 10pm to 5am for maintenance works.
– M25: Closures will include carriageway closures, entry slip road closures, and more from 10.30pm to 5.30am.
