This weekend, there are planned closures and changes to London’s transportation services by TfL. It is essential to be aware of these closures and plan your journey accordingly.

On Friday, September 6th, there will be changes to the London Overground services from Stratford to Richmond and Clapham Junction. The 2159 train from Stratford to Richmond will terminate at Camden Road at 2219, and the 2317 train from Richmond to Willesden Junction will not run. Additionally, there will be changes to Barking Riverside to Gospel Oak services with the 2303 train terminating at Upper Holloway at 2338.

For the Waterloo & City line, there will be no service on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The service operates only between Monday to Friday from 6 am to 00.30 am.

Moving on to Saturday, September 7th, several other closures are expected. There will be no District line service between Turnham Green and Richmond. The DLR will not operate between Bank/Tower Gateway and Canning Town/Lewisham, as well as between Stratford and Canary Wharf. London Overground services will be disrupted between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction, as well as Richmond/Shepherds Bush and Gospel Oak. The Northern Line will also experience closures between Golders Green and Edgware.

On Sunday, September 8th, similar closures will continue. There will be no District line service between Turnham Green and Richmond, and the DLR will not operate between Bank/Tower Gateway and Canning Town/Lewisham, as well as Stratford and Canary Wharf. The Elizabeth Line will have a reduced service between Paddington and Heathrow/Maidenhead until 1400, with no service between Paddington and Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 from 0040 to 0700. London Overground services will be disrupted between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction, Hackney Downs and Chingford, as well as Richmond/Shepherds Bush and Gospel Oak. The Northern Line and Tram services will also be affected.
