So, like, this dude Pshtewan Rashid, 31, was driving his white BMW on the A12 last October, and witnesses were all like, “Yo, he’s totally using his phone while driving.”
Then, bam, he crashes into a lorry near Galleywood, and tries to pull a fast one on the cops by saying he was just a passenger.
But, like, George Dixon, the prosecutor, was all, “Nah, dude did nothing to avoid the crash. He lost control, car spun, airbags popped.”
After the crash, peeps stopped to help, but Rashid just strolled away without even swapping deets with the lorry driver.
Later, police found him hiding in a bush, and he was like, “Nah, wasn’t me driving, there were two people in the car.”
Turns out, the dude had his license taken away a month before this whole mess.
He finally fessed up in March to all his wrongdoings, but when asked to plead his case in court, he was all, “Nah.”
Despite all that, since he had no priors, the court let him off with 12 weeks in the clink (suspended for a year), some rehab, community service, a driving ban, and a hefty bill to pay.
