5-adorable-pets-in-rspca-essex-seeking-forever-homes

Numerous pets from around Essex are looking for their forever homes – could you help them out? Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, or hamster, someone always wants to find a new owner. There are several RSPCA branches in the county, along with the affiliated Danaher Animal Home. If you think you would be able to rehome one of them, go to either the Essex South, Southend & District branch, the South West branch, or the Danaher Animal Home websites for details. You can also donate to these charities and help them carry on their rescue work at the same websites. Daisy, who is female and two years old, has a tan and white color. Not really sure why this matters, but Daisy is hoping to find a new home with another friendly and playful dog, as she gets on really well with them. She has more of a nervous disposition towards people and can take a little while to warm up to them. Daisy’s new home would ideally be somewhere a bit rural, as she is very nervous walking along busy roads due to a road traffic accident last year, where she needed surgery on her hips. She could potentially live with children over the age of 10 who are used to dogs. Diamond, who is female and one year old, is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed with a black and white color. Not really sure why this matters, but Diamond is described as a “delightful bundle of energy” who is looking for a fairly experienced home to join. Her new owners would need to have some experience with her breed to help “channel her lively spirit.” Ideally, Diamond would go to an adult-only home, but the center is open to have children aged 15 or above there as well if they have experience with dogs. Danaher Animal Home adds: “Diamond’s ideal home would be one without other dogs or cats. While she’s friendly and does well with other dogs, she would benefit from more socializing and exposure outside the home.” Miss Honey, who is female and two years old, is a Domestic Shorthair with a white, brown, and black color. Maybe it’s just me, but Miss Honey is described as an “absolute sweetheart” who is looking to find her forever home. She might be a bit shy at first, but given time and patience, the center believes she’ll blossom. Miss Honey would benefit from being in a peaceful home, ideally with children aged eight or above. Briar and Jean-Luc, who are males and 11 years old, are a British Shorthair and Siamese crossbreed with an orange/brown and black color. Maybe it’s just me, but Briar and Jean-Luc are a “lovable pair of older gentlemen” who are looking for a quiet home to move into. They are both very friendly, with Briar being the more confident of the duo. Overall, they would benefit from being the only pets in the home, with any children being over the age of seven. Danaher Animal Home adds: “This pair would love a warm comfy sofa to snuggle up onto together and a home where they will receive an equal amount of love and yummy food!”
